Children and Youth | St George's Church

On Sunday 29th November the service for Advent Sunday will be streamed on to St George's Facebook page at 10.45. The order of service can be found on the right hand bar of the 'What's on page' of this website. We are asked to join the rest of the Church to pray about Covid 19. There is a sheet of suggestions for November on the 'Time for Prayer' page of this website. More information about Sunday services when we can open again can be found lower down this Home page. Please read the information carefully so that you know what special arrangements we need to make for worship outside as well as inside the building. We are working very hard to keep everyone 'Covid safe'

Children and Youth

Children and Youth

Children and young people are an important part of our church family. We try and cater for all age groups from toddlers to those who are almost adult. Youth Church on a Sunday morning is important in each week's worship. Older young people have their own home group and some of them have formed a worship band called 'Undiminished'.

All the sections of the Scouting and Guiding movement meet at St George's on a weekly basis.

We work closely with our local schools and each week some children from Snapethorpe Primary school come to church for an assembly.

There is more about all our work with Children and Young People on these pages.

If you have any concerns about Children and Young People at St George's please see the Safeguarding page
