We had a wonderful time this morning celebrating the 90th anniversary of the foundation stone being laid for our church!
We had fun using puppets to illustrate the legend of St George, our patron saint, and how brave he was!
Reverend Martine finished the service with the blessing which was used when the church was consecrated.
We are so grateful to those people who started the church of St George's all that time ago, and for all the many people who have been part of the worshipping community here ever since.
No celebration would be complete without a party game or cake. You will be pleased to hear that we had both!
