During Holy Week, members of St George's joined with Christians from nearby churches to contemplate Christ's suffering as he journeyed towards the Last Supper.
On Good Friday we joined in with the annual Churches Together in Wakefield Walk of Witness in the morning and then held our Last Hour at the Cross service in church in the afternoon. This is always a sombre day as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us.
On Easter Day we gathered very early for our special Dawn Service. Afterwards, we shared a time of fellowship and breakfast!
Our principal service with Holy Communion was a time of great celebration!
